LITERARY SCHOLAR

Selamawit is an Assistant Professor in Ethiopian literature at Addis Ababa university. She has been teaching and doing research on medieval Geez literature especially on the hagiographies of Ethiopian saints for the last 20 years. She has published several articles on the topic in notable journals. Currently she is working on the cultural evolution of food in medieval Geez manuscripts.
