WOMEN EMPOWERMENT/SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT 

Bekelech is founder and Executive Director of Save Generation Development Association (SGDA).She created positive influence on the empowerment of women and girls through her fight for the rights of girls and women.  She started with a humble beginning of a government school teacher and taught there for six years and at the same time she got her Bachelor’s.  She found an organization called Save Generation Development Association (SGDA). The organization focuses on women and children and gender-based violence. She is serving the association for the last 14 years as executive directress.
